I was a founder member of XR Salisbury and am also a member of Salisbury Transition City, where my particular project is Holes for Hedgehogs – creating a hedgehog superhighway through the gardens of Salisbury. If I were to be elected I would campaign for a 20 mph speed limit in our residential area.”

“I was a General Practitioner in Salisbury for 25yrs before taking early retirement to work overseas in 2007. I have since returned to live in the Salisbury area and currently work on a part-time basis. I have been actively involved in environmental issues since the 1980’s. I represented Ebble ward on the old Salisbury District Council for 2 terms and was the Green Party parliamentary candidate for the Salisbury constituency in the 1992. I am married with children and grandchildren and it is their future that motivates me to stand be a candidate in this election.”

Rick has lived in Salisbury and South Wiltshire for 30 years. Recently retired, Rick was a primary school teacher and the Headteacher of a large city primary school. He understands the huge problems now facing our children, teachers, parents and schools.

Before a career in education, Rick worked for a Salisbury business for ten years and so appreciates the many issues confronting our local businesses.

Rick has worked in Salisbury supporting adults with learning disabilities and been a mentor on the Wiltshire Youth Offending Team.

Rick was the Green Party candidate for Salisbury at the 2019 General election.

Sue has played a leading role for the Salisbury Greens in pressurising Salisbury and Wiltshire councils to declare a Climate Emergency and to take urgent action in response.

She is also a member of Greenpeace and one of the original members of XR Salisbury. Recently, she has been focusing her energies on campaigning to oppose the planned Stonehenge tunnel and expressway, which will devastate this historical and sacred landscape. Di is a journalist by profession and a keen trail runner.
